I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Phantom to Set a Record

Congratulations to Andrew Lloyd-Webber and his Phantom of the Opera (the stageplay).

BBC News: Phantom to take Broadway record---

Andrew Lloyd Webber is preparing to celebrate his Phantom of the Opera becoming the longest running musical on Broadway with 7,468 performances.
On Monday, Phantom will take over the record set by Cats, another of Lord Lloyd-Webber's musicals.

He told BBC Radio 4's Front Row he knew he had a successful show on his hands before it even opened.

"It was clear it was going to be a hit but nobody knew just how big it was going to be," he said.

"There was so much interest in America before its opening there was a huge advance. It was $18m which would be more like $30m (£17m) today."
I have yet to see the play on stage, but I absolutely love the recent movie, starring the gorgeous Gerard Butler.

The stageplay's official site is here.
