I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Here's a Shock!

AP: Top Senate democrat opposes Roberts---

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Democratic Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that he intends to oppose confirmation of John Roberts as chief justice, as rank and file Democrats began staking out positions on the man named to succeed the late William H. Rehnquist.

"I have too many unanswered questions about the nominee to justify a vote confirming him to this enormously important lifetime position," Reid said during a speech on the Senate floor.

"I like Judge Roberts," Reid said. "But I have reluctantly concluded that this nominee has not satisfied the high burden that would justify my voting for his confirmation based on the current record."

However, Reid said he would not support a filibuster that would prevent a vote on Roberts' nomination.

"The question is close, and the arguments against him do not warrant extraordinary procedural tactics to block the nomination," he said.
Well, you know, we still have a lot of unanswered questions about Teddy Kennedy and poor Mary Jo, not to mention John Kerry and where he actually was that Christmas he claims he was in Cambodia. And we mustn't forget that we have questions about the Clintons and Filegate, Whitewatergate, and all those other scandals they were involved in.
