I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

No Posting Until Sunday

I'll be away until Sunday, so I won't be posting until then, at the earliest.

President Bush is finally responding to the Dems and standing up for the very righteous War On Terror. He did it yesterday and again today. Bravo.

You will find great blogging at the following blogs:
Woman Honor Thyself
A Rose By Any Other Name
Blue Star Chronicles
Mad Minerva
Stop the ACLU
Coalition Against Illegal Immigration

Plus, over at A Lady's Diversions, you'll find information on the newest Gerard Butler movies out on dvd, The Miracle Match (aka The Game of Their Lives) and Beowulf & Grendel, (The Miracle Match is a great patriotic, family movie), and information on the new Josh Groban cd, Awake, due out 7 November (new video clips here!).

And, a little something for the ladies.

Have a lovely weekend!
