Congress Unites to Stab Americans in the Back

That might as well be the headline for the following article.

Of course, the MSM doesn't see it the same way I do, so the headline, from the AP, is:

Congress Unites for Illegal-Immigrant Deal---

WASHINGTON - Putting aside party differences, Senate Republicans and Democrats coalesced Thursday around compromise legislation that holds out the hope of citizenship to many of the estimated 11 million immigrants living in the United States unlawfully.

"We can no longer afford to delay reform," said Republican Sens. John McCain and Edward M. Kennedy in a statement that capped weeks of struggle to find common ground.

Oh, Happy Day! Republicans and Democrats are Uniting to give Illegal Aliens their Just Reward!

Wait a minute! They aren't kicking them so far out of the United States that they couldn't walk back in 100 years??? You mean, they want to give them CITIZENSHIP?

That's no just reward. That's blatant pandering, blatant rewarding of law-breakers. Our government, the representatives We the People elected, are about to give a bunch of criminal invaders the same rights that We the People, law-abiding citizens, have. How crazy is that?

The majority of us who live in this country try to follow the laws each and every day. If we don't follow those laws, then we get in trouble, pay huge fines, go to jail. Some of us are even executed, because we didn't follow the law.

But, now we have a group 11-12 million strong (could be more---there probably are more---we just don't know), who broke our laws to steal across our sovereign border, who have continued to break laws by getting jobs, enrolling illegal alien children in our tax-payer funded schools, used tax-payer subsidized hospitals, services, etc., who demand we have everything official in Spanish just for them. And, our government wants to reward them. Lovely, just lovely.

I'm so tired of this whole thing. What is the purpose of laws, if a group of people can break them and be rewarded?

Our ancestors came into this country the right way. They lived the right way: as Americans. They learned English. They adapted to OUR culture. They flew the American flag and could recite the Pledge of Allegiance (in ENGLISH). They got tears in their eyes on Independence Day (which would be 4 July, not whatever day Mexico celebrates for their faux independence).

But, these new people don't want to do any of that. They want us to join Mexico's culture.

And our ELECTED officials are helping them. They want to give all these illegal invaders amnesty (Michelle Malkin has lots more here). They aren't listening to us. We don't want this. When will enough be enough?

Now, excuse me. I've got to go pull this knife out of my back. It has a little red, white, and green, with a symbol in the white, flag dangling from it. I'm bleeding Red, White, and Blue.
