Location: United States

I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Remember Terri Schiavo

Image hosting by Photobucket

One year ago today, the murdering of Terri Schiavo was begun. One year ago today, Terri's feeding tube was removed for a final time.

She and her family (parents, sister, brother) put up a good fight, but the Forces of Darkness prevailed.

Still, we must keep fighting to protect life. Terri's life was not in vain. Nor is her family's continued efforts at the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation. Please visit and do what you can.

BlogsforTerri was a very important voice in the fight for Terri's life. They are remembering the happenings of last year and urging action in saving lives. Please visit and do what you can.

The "Blogburst in Memory of Terri Schiavo" is here.

If you have a blog and would like to participate in some way, BlogsforTerri has information here.

I will write more throughout the week. Please keep the Schindlers (and Michael Schiavo, Terri's murderer) in your prayers as they go through this difficult time.

We who are strong are supposed to protect the weak. The United States Government, the State of Florida, and the Authorities on Pinellas Park, FL failed Terri in her time of need. We cannot allow this to happen. Please keep fighting.
