I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Al Franken is Disgusting

Drudge has this link to an Amazon.com video skit Franken has done to promote his stupid new book.

He's a complete idiot. In the skit, two readers say how much they loved his other book and how much they are looking forward to his new book. The third person says he is a Conservative and wouldn't read them.

So, Franken knees the man in the groin, slams a stool over his head, and watches as one of the other readers breaks a bottle of alcohol over the Conservative's head.

It is complete garbage. A Republican would never be able to get away with such a thing, featuring a Liberal.

Michelle Malkin has more commentary and lots of links.
