A Lady's Ruminations

"Jane was firm where she felt herself to be right." -Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

Location: United States

I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Stop the ACLU on the Radio

Nedd, director and founder of Stop the ACLU has sent around an e-mail with this information:

We will be on the radio today at 4 PM EST, 3 PM CST, 2 PM MST, 1 PM PST on the Ron Pritchard show on the Michigan Talk Radio Network. You will be able to listen live by going to http://www.mlive.com/talkradio/ and then clicking the "News Radio" link near the microphone at the top of the page. Be sure you have the latest edition of the Real Player to listen. A link to it is provided in the left margin if you don't have it.

You may call in toll free at (888) 900-9966 if you wish to weigh in.

Disregard the mention of the Tony Trupiano show in this time slot. I have been told that I will be on for 20-25 minutes but that it might be longer, depending on how "hot" it gets. So let's make it "hot"!
Be sure to listen!
