Location: United States

I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Hurricane Katrina: Blogging for Relief Day 3

Help has come in full force to New Orleans, but there is so much more to be done.

Thousands upon thousands of people are without the basic necessities of life. They have no homes, no food, no clothing, no jobs, and very difficult futures.

It is the job of those of us who still have our homes, our food, our clothing, our jobs, and much easier futures to help our fellow Americans.

You can provide hope for a person or a family or many people by making a donation to the relief efforts.

Please donate to Catholic Charities, the Salvation Army, the American Red Cross, or your favorite relief charity.

Once you have donated, please visit TTLB, log your contribution, and visit the other blogs participating in Blogging for Relief.

Please, give up going to see that new movie a second time or buying that new cd. You can do that next month. The people who have lost everything in Hurricane Katrina need your help now. Please don't fail them.

You can read more information on Blogging for Relief here and here.

And don't forget to pray.
