I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Attn: Romance Readers

I'm a big fan of romance novels, particularly those set in the Regency period of English history.

Some of my favorite authors have a blog, Squawk Radio.

The Ladies there have adopted a fellow romance author who lost her home and her dogs in New Orleans.

You can read the initial post here.

The poor lady, Leslie, just had a baby 2 weeks ago. She also has 2 other daughters, who are 27 months and 9 years old.

If you would like to donate something to Leslie and her family, please read this post.

Leslie and her mother write the books together, under the pen name "Christine Holden." If you are a romance fan, please consider donating to Leslie and her family. Even just a card would be appreciated. Thank you!
