I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

GUCR Mention

For some reason I picked up this past week's edition of a local free news-magazine, called The Inlander.

They had a section on local collges and a short blurb on each. I only have the paper copy, so I cannot give you a link to the article online. It wasn't there when I looked.

Under Gonzaga's, they had the following:

Club to look into: College Republicans. Act righteous, yak about God's will, and cruise campus in yachting shoes.
Hmmm, I was a member of the GU College Republicans for a few years and I don't recall us acting the way the writer intends us to sound. We weren't (and still aren't) rich, pompous, stick-in-the muds. I don't remember anyone wearing yachting shoes. And if we were talking about religion, we were talking about what should and should not be allowed on a supposedly Catholic campus. Is that a problem?
