I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

And "Jihad Johnny" Only Got 20?

According to a Yahoo Story:

A US District Court judge sentenced Antonio Flores to 171 months in prison plus three years supervised release for attempting to firebomb the Islamic Center of El Paso in El Paso, Texas, according to the Justice Department.

In March, Flores pleaded guilty to a charge that prohibits damaging or attempting to damage religious property and a second charge that bars the use of fire or an explosive device in the commission of a felony, the department said.

So, why does this man get such a long sentence (14 years) for only attempting to damage an Islamic Center and John Walker Lindh, aka Jihad Johnny, only get 20 years for treason and fighting with the Taliban against his own country? For all we know, Jihad Johnny, the scurvy little rat, killed American soldiers. Did Antonio Flores even kill anyone? Admittedly, it is a crime to bomb something, but 14 years for a sentence? Rapists and child molesters and traitors get shorter sentences.
