Location: United States

I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Elvira Arellano to be Honored at 19th Annual People’s Weekly World/Nuestro Mundo Banquet

From Greg at DeMediacratic Nation:

"Immigrants Rights Activist," Elvira Arellano. Where else but in the U.S. could someone breaking the law get away with this farce? Arellano, "illegal immigrant" and two time deportee is an "immigrants rights activist" in the tradition of who, Rosa Parks?

Is Saulito going to be honored as well? Afterall he has been involved in negotiations down Mexico way.

"Murderer's Rights Activist" Charles Manson today...

From the People's Weekly World:

"The Chicago banquet, to be held Dec. 3, will feature living wage and peace resolutions sponsor city Alderman Freddrenna Lyle as the keynote speaker, and will honor immigrant rights activist Elvira Arellano, union activists Bea and Frank Lumpkin, disability rights group ADAPT, the March 10th immigrant rights coalition and AFSCME workers who are fighting to organize Resurrection Hospital — all familiar to PWW readers."
What's next, an OJ book and TV special?
