I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

As Always . . .

Barbara Olson was, as I have already written, one of my favorite Conservative political commentators. She had grace, intelligence, and charm.

It was with immensely great sadness that I learned of her death on September 11, 2001. She was on Flight 77, which hit the Pentagon.

Last year, for September 11, I wrote this post about Barbara.

This year, Susie of SusiePie wrote a tribute to Barbara as part of the 2,996 Tribute project. Please visit her beautiful post here.

We miss you, Barbara! Say a prayer for us up in heaven!

You can find the list of tributes here (the real site has exceeded its bandwidth).
