I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Thank God for Ann Coulter

I still haven't finished Godless: the Church of Liberalism because I don't want it to end, but I am very close. It is a fabulous book and I will write more about it when I am finished.

If you haven't got your copy yet, rush out and do so. It is well worth it.

Ann's latest column is up: Godless' Causes Liberals to Pray ... For A Book Burning. It contains some summaries of portions of the book.

I, for one, am glad that we have Ann Coulter on our side, to speak the truth and stand up for what is Right. People on the right are often too reticent, too afraid to stand out and speak the truth about the Left in the harsh terms necessary. Ann isn't and that makes her an easy target for Liberals who Loath strong Conservatives and self-loathing Republicans. The Left will pull out every nasty, rotten, dirty trick in the book and lie, lie, lie to gain the upper hand. Republicans won't even defend themselves with the truth for fear of appearing too partisan. Enough of that. Ann says what needs to be said.

The Left LOVES to hate her and say cruel things about her.

Take this mean piece from the Daily Iowan (a college paper-reg. req.): The Coulter couture - Arts---

Friends, neighbors, family, family-friends, every freedom-loving American small and tall, overfed and underfed, flag-waver and flag-burner alike, please reach down and donate your spare change to the Ann Coulter Makeover Fund.

Ann, I'm going to address you personally now. The Right, as you know, is not sexy nor cool nor hip nor fun. So why do you keep trying to sex-up the GOP?

For example, on your website, you have what you generously call a "photo tour." And on this "tour," the viewer is honored to see your many skiing trips, the famous celebrities you've hung out with, the quasi-slinky black cocktail dresses you've worn, and the flowingness of your mane dyed an unfortunate streak of yellow.

How can you spew hate and a general disdain for the majority of the world's population without looking the part? Your political party seriously calls itself the "Grand Old Party." In other words, the bland has to get blander, shorter, and with bangs. The ensemble has to get looser, less trendy, monochromatic, with mother-of-pearl accents.
Liberals always attack the way Conservatives look, simply because Liberals have no facts, no arguments, only insults. Look what they did to Kathrine Harris, when she followed the law in 2000. They cannot win on facts, so they just attack. It is sickening.

And, reviews of Godless are starting to come in. Here are links to a few that Ann has posted on her website:
-American Spectator: From God to Godless: The Real Liberal Terror
-NRO, David Klinghoffer: Coulterian Contempt
-Men's News Daily: Decline of the Warrior Male: Is Ann Coulter the Last of the “Real Men” on the Intellectual Right?
-NewsMax.com: Poll: Huge Support for Ann Coulter

Plus, Hot Air has film from Ann's appearance on Fox News' Dayside: Ann vs. Juliet Huddy and Susan Estrich. (And Susan's screech on Ann is here.)
