I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Conservative Round-Up

Ann Coulter's newest column is out. It is titled Conservatives Need 12-Step Program to Manhood and here is an excerpt:

Democrats have declared war against Republicans, and Republicans are wandering around like a bunch of ninny Neville Chamberlains, congratulating themselves on their excellent behavior. They'll have some terrific stories about their Gandhi-like passivity to share while sitting in cells at Guantanamo after Hillary is elected.

For a political party that grasps the concept of victory against foreign enemies, Republicans can't seem to grasp that concept when it comes to domestic enemies. Instead of taking a page from Sun-tzu's "Art of War," when it comes to fighting liberals, American conservatives prefer the Jimmy Carter unconditional surrender strategy.

Patriotic Americans don't have to become dangerous psychotics like liberals, but they could at least act like men.
Agreed!

And over at his blog, Mark Levin has some important things to say about the NSA spying program: here and here---

I honestly am appalled at the arguments I hear against our intelligence activities in the face of an enemy who has already infiltrated our country and unleashed attacks from within, killing thousands of our fellow citizens. I get the impression that too many do not take this war seriously.

The NSA intercept program shouldn't be controversial. The Constitution and precedent make clear that the president, especially during war-time, can intercept enemy communications, including if those communications involve U.S. citizens within the United States. It is absurd to argue otherwise.
Michelle Malkin has this newsflash up (and lots of blogger reactions in the same post): NSA Doing Its Job!. Now, if only we could get the rest of our government to do the same! More here.

Michelle also has a post about a 9/11 Memorial in Virginia. Let's not forget those who died that horrid day. And, she has two posts about illegal immigration:
-Hurray for Illegal Aliens with TB!---Some work in restaurants. Great!
-More on the Border Patrol held hostage by DHS---The Border Patrol Under Siege

At NRO, Kathryn Lopez has a column up about the demise of the tv show "Commander-in-Chief," titled Thelma and Hillary.

At Woman Honor Thyself, Angel has some great posts up:
-Britain WelcomeS HighjackerS---Noooo!! Not the motherland!
-Let’s SupporT Hamas?..yea o.k.
