Location: United States

I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Americans Want Catch Terrorists . . .

. . . but Liberals don't, which is why there has been such a big too-do about the NSA wiretapping program (which, by the bye, is completely under Presidential authority in a time of War!).

Washington Post: Poll: Most Americans Support NSA's Efforts---

A majority of Americans initially support a controversial National Security Agency program to collect information on telephone calls made in the United States in an effort to identify and investigate potential terrorist threats, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll.

The new survey found that 63 percent of Americans said they found the NSA program to be an acceptable way to investigate terrorism, including 44 percent who strongly endorsed the effort. Another 35 percent said the program was unacceptable, which included 24 percent who strongly objected to it.

A slightly larger majority--66 percent--said they would not be bothered if NSA collected records of personal calls they had made, the poll found.

Underlying those views is the belief that the need to investigate terrorism outweighs privacy concerns. According to the poll, 65 percent of those interviewed said it was more important to investigate potential terrorist threats "even if it intrudes on privacy." Three in 10--31 percent--said it was more important for the federal government not to intrude on personal privacy, even if that limits its ability to investigate possible terrorist threats.

Half--51 percent--approved of the way President Bush was handling privacy matters.
I highly doubt that the President is listening in on calls between people discussing the latest movie or applie pie recipes or the death of a family member. Rather, the President is rightfully having phone calls from terrorists and terrorist supporters (and possible terrorists and terrorist supporters) tracked, listened to, and followed up on.

Liberals would have objected to the government listening to Mohammed Atta's calls---simply out of spite for the Bush Administration and America. Yet, listening to Mohammed Atta's calls might have prevented 9/11.

Are we not allowed, in this time of WAR, to use any methods necessary to discover what the enemy is planning?

The terrorists are, one must remember, not a regular army. They wear no uniforms. They don't stand at attention, in neat rows. They don't follow the rules of war and fight on the battlefield. These wicked cowards will take war wherever they can. They do not care who gets hurt or killed, as long as their mission to takeover the earth goes forward. They even blow up their own people (and themselves). Nothing matters but Muslim domination.

And Liberals want us to act like they merely argued with us at a tea party and ended by throwing tea in our faces.

We are AT WAR. And if we refuse to recognize that fact---and act appropriately and decisively---then we will be finished more quickly than we could ever imagine.

And the first to go will be the Liberals, who refuse to defend themselves, who refuse to allow guns, who refuse to acknowledge the threat we are facing.

What will you do?
