Location: United States

I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

A Sick Perversion

An unelected judge in Maryland said a 33 year old law banning "Gay" Marriage is "discriminatory.". Of course, the ACLU was in on the suit.
"Although tradition and societal values are important, they cannot be given so much weight that they alone will justify a discriminatory statutory classification," Judge M. Brooke Murdock wrote.
This isn't discrimination. This is Thousands of Years of Beliefs, Tradition, and History. These fools think they can turn it over in a New York minute. Marriage is between One Man and One Woman. Why is this so hard to understand? Marriage isn't between One Man and One Computer or One Woman and One Carton of Ice Cream. Marriage isn't One Sister and One Brother. Marriage isn't One Person and One Animal. Marriage is One Man and One Woman.

It also isn't a right. It's a privelege. We don't allow children to marry. We don't allow one man to have 3 wives (or even 2). Why must we allow two women to marry or two men?

This is a sick perversion of what is right and Holy.

Beyond that, such a decision ought to be left to the People to decide, not a some unelected, unaccountable, Leftist judge.
