I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Send Christmas Greetings to the Troops!

I was randomly clicking on blogs in the various blogrolls I am a part of and came across one called God Bless America.

It is an absolutely wonderful blog, full of patriotism and pride in our military.

With Christmas approaching, I found this post special: Send a Holiday Message to the Troops Via Stars and Stripes.

Our military men and women are often far away from their homes and their families during the Christmas season, sacrificing so we can be with ours'. We can certainly take a few minutes to send a cheerful and thankful message to them.

Please follow the link to find out how to send a message to our military. Please be respectful. If you disagree with the mission, perhaps you are better off joining Cindy Sheehan.
