I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

A Pro-Life Questionaire

National Review has posted a questionaire from Texans United for Life, that was sent to Harriet Miers in April 1989.

You can read it here.

Basically, all answers are marked yes, that the respondent promises to advocate pro-life stances, support pro-life causes, etc..

However, I have noticed that the questionaire is neither signed, nor dated. So, really, the second page could belong to anyone. I have no idea whether this is the case or not, but I find it interesting that there is no identifying name on the questionaire, only on the letter that separately proceeds it.

Even if it does belong to Harriet Miers, this does not prove she would rule a certain way if a case came in front of her.
