Shepard Smith: Reporter Extraordinaire
Some people are going to go nuts when I say this because a) I'm a Fox News contributor and b) I work for the same company, but I really mean this: I think Shepherd Smith may go down in the annals of television history because of his astounding work this week as an anchor and descriptive reporter.I have to agree. Shepard Smith is an excellent reporter. I've always thought so. He always add a vibrance, an interest to a story. I like to watch his Fox News shows, Studio B and the Fox Report.
I have been watching his coverage of Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath. He's been down in New Orleans for a few days, possibly since the storm hit (though I'm not sure about that). He is out with the people and is very passionate about his reporting. Shep gets good stories and has a very vivid way of describing what is going on.
He's also tireless in his coverage. He regularly does his 2 shows a day, but anytime there is something big going on, a natural disaster or an event, Shep is on all the time.
One time at the beginning of the War in Iraq, my sister couldn't sleep at about 3:30am, turned the tv on, and there was Shep.
If you haven't seen his shows, I highly recommend them. Studio B is on at 3:00pm Eastern/12:00pm Pacific and the Fox Report is on at 7:00pm Eastern/4:00pm Pacific.
