I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Two Years Later!

Today is A Lady's Ruminations' 2nd blogiversary! I can't believe it!

I have been rather terrible about blogging for a number of months, but if you have stuck around, thank you and God bless you! Hopefully I will find my motivation again!

I also post over at my other blog,
A Lady's Diversions, which is more light-hearted and includes recipes, my thoughts on books, movies, tv shows, etc., and some other fun things.

If you have any (polite and friendly) suggestions for
A Lady's Ruminations, please write them in the comments or e-mail me at TheLadyJane@gmail.com.

Thank you for visiting! I hope you have a lovely day.
