I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

"I'm Katie Couric, and that's the way it is at the DNC."

I didn't watch Katie Couric's debut on the CBS Evening News last night. I had to wash my hair.

Apparently, Couric can't come up with her own little "sign-off" for the end of the show and asked viewers for suggestions.

ScrappleFace.com has a great list up:
CBS Reveals Top 10 Couric Sign-Off Suggestions.

Hilarious! I think my favorites are #10, 7, and 6. Which do you prefer?

Can you think of any great ones? Write them in the comments and I will post them here. :)

How did Couric do?

Variety says "the new news looks quite a lot like the old news."
