I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

See You Monday

I have had a horrid migraine today, which made me sick, and now that I am feeling better I am heading to the lake to relax. I will be back Monday. Enjoy the last weekend in August!

Keep praying for the safe release of Steve Centanni and Olaf Wiig.

Great stuff here:

This is brilliant: Pride & Prejudice: Harry Potter Style

Great blogs to visit:
Woman Honor Thyself
A Rose By Any Other Name
Blue Star Chronicles
Mad Minerva
Stop the ACLU
Coalition Against Illegal Immigration

AND, go see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest! Hilarious and just what you need before school starts again.

Plus, we all should see Oliver Stone's World Trade Center.

Have a lovely weekend!
