I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Let's Build a Wall

This just makes me mad.

Reuters: US-Mexico border wall would be 'disgraceful': Fox---

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexican President Vicente Fox denounced as "disgraceful and shameful" on Wednesday a proposal to build a high-tech wall on the U.S.-Mexico border to stop illegal immigrants.

Concerned about the huge numbers of illegal immigrants streaming across the border and worried it could be an entry point for terrorists, a U.S. lawmaker has proposed building two parallel steel and wire fences running from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Coast. But Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff has said a wall running the length of a border would cost too much.
Actually, it is a brilliant and lawful idea to build a huge wall between the US and Mexico to keep all the illegal ALIENS (not immigrants) in their own country.

And would it cost more than it costs us to pay for all their crime, health problems, the use of our schools and services, and everything else they make us pay for?

Mexico has expressed indignation at the idea.

Fox, speaking in Tamaulipas state across the border from Texas, said such extreme security measures would violate immigrants' rights.

"The disgraceful and shameful construction of walls, the increasing enforcement of security systems and increasing violation of human rights and labor rights will not protect the economy of the United States," he said.

He again called for the easing of U.S. immigration laws to benefit millions of undocumented Mexican fruit pickers, waiters and janitors working north of the border, a complex bilateral issue that has at times strained relations with Washington.
Well, I'm indignant over the fact that so many invaders have come into our country, broken our laws, and now expect rewards. I'm indignant that the Mexican government would sanction such a thing.

And calling "the increasing enforcement of security systems" a bad thing is utterly ridiculous. As a sovereign nation, we have the right to protect ourselves and our borders from foreign invaders. We have no obligation, legal or moral, to let them pour into our country, bringing with them crime and disease and filth.

Denying invaders entrance into our country is not a violation of human rights or labor rights, any more than denying a burglar entrance into your house is.

"I hope that next year we finally get an immigration agreement," Fox told immigrants crossing the border back to Mexico to spend the holidays with their families.
I am hopeful that we will finally get an anti-alien invasion bill with some teeth and some people in Washington, D.C. who care enough to pass it and enforce it. I hope we deport every single person who has invaded our country.

And as for those crossing back to Mexico "to spend the holidays with their families," STAY THERE. You aren't welcome here. We work hard to build our country. You haven't the right to invade and use it.

I want a Wall.
