I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Will tomorrow be another?

Tomorrow, Thursday, 4 August, marks two weeks since the last attempted terrorist attack in London, and 4 weeks since the first one, the successful one. Will there be another?

Sections of the London Underground that were damaged in the attacks of 7 July only re-opened today.

The first charges in the 7/21 case were brought today. Ismael Abdurahman was charged with "withholding information that could have led to the arrest of Hussain Osman, who allegedly tried to blow up a Tube train at Shepherd’s Bush on July 21."

And Hussain Osman, who slipped out of the country and went to Italy, is "afraid of going back to England, I am afraid of what might happen to me in prison, I am afraid of spending the rest of my life in a cell. I beg of you, do everything you can to keep me here."

Cry me a river.
