I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Finally! "Bush takes off the gloves"

According to Drudge, President Bush "finally tonight ripped the Democratic Party as a pack of do-nothing obstructionists bent on derailing his agenda of reform, telling Democratic leaders in Congress that on issue after issue, 'they stand for nothing except obstruction, and this is not leadership.' "

It is about time that he took the offensive. For too long the Democrats have gone around spouting anything and everything, criticizing the President and his policies every chance they had. Nice to see he knows how to fight back. He needs to do it more often. The Dems get away with too much and one can't be surprised that the President's approval numbers have gone down. If he wants to accomplish anything he needs to get out there, tell the truth, and not allow the Democrats to get away with what they've been allowed to get away with for so long.
