I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Prayer Request

My fellow Coalition Against Illegal Immigration member Frau Budgie of Red Hot Cuppa Politics needs some prayers:

Fraubudgie Needs Your Prayers
She'll give me heck for this ... but I'll deal with it. Fraubudgie's not doing so well ... one of those "she'll get better, or she won't" situations. It's serious; she's in Intensive Care; but birds do their best not to show it.

With any luck ... she'll be back next week. She and I believe in Doctors and prayers. We've enough of the former ... I'm asking for a whole bunch of the latter.

SOooo ... whether you agree with mein Frau or not, please send a prayer for her recovery this way.
