I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

"In Jesus' Name, Amen"

From the Presidential Prayer Team: Chaplains Reassured Regarding Prayer in Jesus’ Name---

The White House has agreed to pressure the Pentagon to put an end to discrimination against chaplains who pray in the name of Jesus Christ. In a story reported by the Washington Times, White House domestic policy adviser Claude Allen promised Rep. Walter B. Jones of North Carolina that the President will take up the issue personally with Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.

Jones’ office says chaplains should be able to pray to whomever 'their faith tradition' demands, including named gods, saints or prophets. Although no branch of the U.S. military explicitly forbids sectarian prayer, some say overtly evangelical Christian chaplains are whisked out of official ceremonies if they insist on praying in Jesus` name, the newspaper said.

The White House plans to remind the Pentagon of the right of evangelical Christian military chaplains to pray publicly in Jesus' name.
