I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Fox News: Bush to Give Border Patrol Speech---

CRAWFORD, Texas — President Bush heads out Monday on a two-day swing through parts of Texas and Arizona, where he will receive briefings from Customs and Border Protection personnel about the ongoing holes in border control.

Illegal immigration is a bigger subject than ever these days. Polling shows that more than 50 percent of Americans say the president is doing a good job on homeland security, and Bush's trip will include an effort to boost his overall low job approval rating by delivering a speech in Tucson, Ariz., on border security .

White House aides say the president will make remarks pledging additional resources and the use of technology to secure the border. One concept he'll discuss is "interior repatriation," a term that means returning illegal immigrants from Mexico to the interior of their country, rather than returning them just over the other side of the border.

Bush will also make another pitch for his temporary worker program, which has never really caught on in Congress.

An estimated 11 million illegal immigrants live in the United States today, up from 8.4 million five years ago. Border patrol agents arrested more than 1 million illegal immigrants last fiscal year. (emphasis added)
Eleven million illegal aliens who have invaded the United States and President Bush wants to reward them with jobs. Just lovely.

No kidding it "never really caught on in Congress." It's a horrid plan. If someone breaks the law, we don't reward him. If someone invades our country, we should shoot first and ask questions later.

President Bush will only boost his job approval ratings if he forgets his silly idea of rewarding bad behavior and really gets tough on the Border.
