Location: United States

I'm also a usually quiet, reserved Lady, who enjoys books, tea, baking, and movies! I spend most of my time reading one of my favorite books or wishing I was reading my favorite books. My Grand Passion is history, particularly the Regency Period in England, when Jane Austen wrote, Lord Nelson defeated the French Fleet at Trafalgar, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon, and men were Gentlemen and women Ladies. I cherish the thought of being a Lady and love manners, being proper, and having proper tea. My favorite tea is Twinings, especially Earl Grey or Prince of Wales. My specialty to make is Scones with Devon Cream. I am a Catholic and a Conservative.

Keep the Pressure On

We must remember that there is still a Supreme Court nominee to be named. We need to keep the pressure on President Bush and remind him of all that he has promised to do.

Townhall.com has this Action page up:

With Harriet Miers' withdrawal from contention, President Bush has an opportunity to recommend a new candidate for nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court. Call the President and tell him to keep his campaign promise...

As promised in his campaign, Bush assured the American public that he would appoint a candidate that could follow in the footsteps of Scalia and Thomas.

Call the President and tell him to keep his campaign promise - nominate a judge that conservatives can rally behind. White House switchboard: 202-456-1414 or comments@whitehouse.gov.
